Nervous Clemson Fan

There's a vet tech at my vet's office who is a Clemson alum. She's a big football fan. I was proudly sporting my LSU golf cap. She saw it and said this is the first game she's been nervous about for a long, long time.
Also ran across a Sooner fan who was amazed at how easily LSU walked all over her team. While she and I were talking, several other people joined in and all agreed that LSU needs to deliver an arse-whooping to Clemson. To a person, they said they're sick of Clemson and Dabo's constant whining.
I just smiled and said, "Nothing would please me more."
I hope all the Clemson fans started getting a little shaky come Monday evening. I further hope that by the 3rd quarter they simply resign themselves to the fact that their stay atop the college football mountain will be over soon.

I have a neighbor near me, like, two houses away. I wish I had an LSU wrap on my car and a bullhorn that played the GBFTL every time LSU scores that I could control remotely from my house!
He's being quiet, so far. He usually stops me as I drive by to tell me how great Clemson's recruiting class is, but so far, since the 28th, he's been keeping himself hidden.

I wish that to be true, but this will be a very close game and can go either way! I believe in O and trust Joe!!
But, this will definitely be LSU's biggest test of the year.
Yes, I believe Clemson to be better than Bama, Auburn, and Florida....just a more complete team, I believe. The problem is I don't have any evidence. They have not played anyone other than OSU. But, Dabo (whiny boy) has talent and has built a great program and can always get them up for one great game per year!

She should be nervous. OSU had them beat & let it slip away. Had them beat ! I truly believe we are a better team then OSU, and think they would have given us a better game. Could be a dog fight for awhile, but the healthy depth on the D side should take its toll on the northern Tigers. We need to keep the foot on the gas, cause Dabo’s teams will not quit.

They’re all nervous. I am originally from SC and work for a SC company. Am in the office this week. Not a single one of them is a bit confident going into this game.

We’re 2-2 vs the best team ever, Bama. What is the rest of the mighty SEC’s record against Bama in the last 4 meetings? Burrow will be gone next year and y’all can go back to getting beat by Troy.

I felt nervous about aTm and UGA and OU as I am nervous about Clemson. But, I also, from time to time, have this feeling of Monday being a coronation of sorts...

I live in Charleston and talk with people who are true Clemson fans, parents of Clemson students and alumni all day. They all know I bleed purple and gold so the last two weeks has been rather interesting.First off, they are almost apologetic for the success they've had. Ive yet to hear from a single Clemson fan that they would be disappointed with a loss! That is as long as its close. What they are really nervous about is if Burrow and company take them to the woodshed like Oklahoma. This would validate their worst fear in that they really couldn't make it through an sec schedule and are only in the position that they have been in the last few years because of their lack of competition.
I actually think they have a great team and it should be close. Weird fan base for sure.

OU, Ta&m, UTexas, OhioSt fans are very quiet in my area. TTech fans like LSU. Haven't bumped into a vocal Clemson fans.
