Yes we have. It wasn't too long ago that everyone was saying a monkey could win 10 games a year at LSU.

this is about the dumbest plea I’ve read yet. It suggests that last year was an acceptable performance.
You also suggest that the trench player turnover was Miles fault when the massive defections happened after Miles was released including you previous season right tackle.

That was a bad year considering the competition including a loss by 2 touchdowns with them kneeling on a drive for another while you were health and they had zero starting linebackers the most critical position on their defense. Then there’s the worse beat down ever at the hands of State. The Troy loss topped it all off. Miles wins 11 games as head coach last year with that schedule maybe more.

. This is a bold face lie. I want LSU to run the table and fly anothe flag mo e than anything. NOTHING would make me happier. I also support this staff financially as I have since the mid 70’s. If my money isn’t a testament to a team what is? I hope he proves me 100% wrong.

I just can see the inevitable and don’t understand why we need to blindly roll with someone who we know has a far greater chance of failure than success. Who even has proved to be worse than the previous guy. Those are the things that pisses off hr fan base.

So we are judging him by what he did almost 15 years ago? Again, we keep avaoiding the real question... Who is out there to hire? Jimbo, Tom, And Kirby turned us down. Who is left to hire? We didnt want Miles ( should have kept him) and we dont want Orgeron.

Literally dozens of people who would be better than O. The idea that no one wants to coach here is horse shite. It is up to the AD and the people he answers to, to a find and vett candidates and put together an acceptable offer, with competent people in charge we could have gotten either Fisher or Herman

The only whining and crying I see in this thread is from the coonasses who have their nose so far up Coach O's arse they could tell you what he had for breakfast. Crying about the rest of us being negative and/or disrespectful.

There are quite literally dozens of people with similar or better qualifications than O’s resume.

The first hire that LSU needs to focus on before head coach is at Athletics Director. Preferably somebody with balls to go toe to toe with the F. King and the Board.

I suppose everyone sees things like they want to but to act as if though 10 yrs ago ole miss, Troy and miss state are the O haters battle cry is just not being truthful.

Those losses were bad. I do agree.
I dont care however about 10 years ago. IMO coach O is a much better coach and in a much better situation now than he was then.

Pathetic part of all this is these people can’t even enjoy start of new season, regardless if they’ll admit it or not there’s lots to be excited about.
It’s like they wallow in their negativity and they want rest of LSU fans to share in their miserable existence.
I can’t figure out why a person would choose that route.

So...are you saying a winning season is now considered a successful one at LSU?

You have such a limited mentality when saying LSU had no else to hire other than Orgeron. It’s this very thinking that holds LSU and LA back.

Because, for the 20th fricking time, Ed Orgeron should have never been hired in the first place. I know, it was time to part ways with Les Miles. It was long overdue.
However, you don't fire Les Miles and make a decision (in complete haste) to replace him with Ed Orgeron.

Excuse us if we don't back down from our convictions on that, and refuse to keep quiet as we take one up the arse from Joe Alleva, F. King Alexander, and the like (all in the name of blind faith rah rah LSU spirit). A lot of us don't operate that way. Again, we have convictions that we stick to. And to be honest, it's not just a few. It's the entire sports world outside of the borders of Louisiana that look at the whole thing as a fricking joke. That whole situation was handled like a royal clusterfrick of epic proportions. And to be honest, the result so far has only made it worse. Had Coach O come in and pulled a Dabo Swinney, you might have a point. But, he did not. As we all pretty much expected.

So please, spare us with the sermon on being good little LSU fans. The cucks in our fanbase are just fine and content with the way things are.

But let a rational person tell you: things could be so much better with a real coach and coaching staff, and a competent AD.

ETA: not the entire coaching staff.

So you're saying have a set of balls and sticking to what you think, is a laughing matter? Ok then.
