Bama has a 5* that has waited 3-4 years to get to play
Texas has the #1 recruit in the country that has waited 3 years to play
Georgia has a highly rated guy that has waited 3 years to play
Both the Bama and Georgia guy were beat out in QB battles last year
yea so its pretty much not extinct

I don't think it'll be as rare as you think.
4 of the top QBs heading into 2025 have all remained with same school:
Nussmeier - 5th year at LSU
Klubnik - 4th year at Clemson
Allar - 4th year at Penn St
Manning - 3rd year at Texas

Nuss and Manning are both guys who have NFL quarterback pedigree. They both have been patiently waiting and developing. All those prima dona guys who want to play as a true freshman may learn a good lesson if only they had the brains to learn it.

Exactly, it’s very obvious people don’t pay attention to what is actually going on. Top tier QBs staying and waiting for their time to start is 100% still happening, especially at the big time schools
