How could you let this happen? You are a failure as a father.

Is it too late to brainwash him?

I have been shoving LSU stuff (clothes, decor) on my kids since birth because we used to live in Alabama and I was not going to have a Bama fan as a kid. When LSU games come on, we watch together. We go to at least one LSU game a year. Overwhelm him with LSU stuff and he will return from the dark side.

Definitely have to start early. LSU onsey's, Bama diapers. My little boy is 2 and requests to wear something LSU every time we dress him. My 8-year old daughter needs work though. She used to have the cheerleading outfits, but hardly wears any LSU anymore. I just grounded her and bought her a new LSU shirt for good measure.

My brother went through a phase like this at a similar age. He became a Florida fan for a few years back in the mid-90s. I think he rooted for them in part because he likes a winner and in part because he was rebelling against my father.

Ultimately, he went to LSU undergrad, stayed for grad school, attended every game he could (all the home game obviously and most of the road games, too) and is one of the most die hard fans I know.

It's probably just a phase. When he comes back around, welcome him back to Tiger Nation!

Biblically speaking, it's perfectly OK to kill your son for cursing their father in the Old Testament. Things have changed a little, but this is special circumstance that I think applies.

The other day, I was evesdropping on my 4 yr old boy and 2 yr old girl in their room and they both broke out in a chant: LSU-LSU-LSU...

It was a special moment.

Thorazine 150mg three times a day. Also, invest in a drool bib, he'll need it.

If that doesn't cure his insanity, find his friend's dad and pop him in the 'tooth.'

Good Luck!!

LSU being Bama on a consistant basis will cure. Kids hate to lose...like all of us. During a game against Florida, my youngest (8 at the time) was pulling for the Gators during the game (we were loosing), I made him go stand outside and watch through the window. Punishing him only gave him more resolve to pull for the Gators. LSU beating them the following years(and winning the BCS) fixed all that...

Just let him keep watching the gumps with sarah jessica parker wilson play. That's punishment enough.

I don't know, if you present the reason the legislature may change the law to allow abortions in the 45th trimester.

If you really want to lay down the law:

1) Buy Alabama panties and a female Alabama cheer leader outfit (complete with poms poms).

2) With your wife, show them to him and tell him that "son, your mom and I are very disappointed that you are cheering for Alabama. We've discussed this and decided that they next time we hear about you cheering for Alabama, your punishment is going to be to wear this while standing in the corner and thinking about what you did. Do you understand?"
