Would Wich st get an at large bid with a loss?
Yes, I think so.

Lunardi currently has Wichita State as a 7 seed. They'll steal a bid if they lose.

Wichita ended up pulling it out. Would've been a huge upset.

Glad they did. With no other at-large contenders in the Missouri Valley, we need them to get the auto bid.

I have a difficult time hoping that my team...which routinely quits in the second half of games...gets rewarded for their trash attitude.

Does anybody want to put together a mid major grid of who to root for and who to root against? I would update and add it to the original post but I'm not going to have any time to do so

Apparently your reading comprehension skills are as piss poor as your attitude. It was clearly stated in the original post that this is not what the thread is for

Here you go. I went by ESPN's current bubble watch, and put the highest seeded team in each conference, as well as "locks" and "should be ins" in the "root for" category. "Work left to do" teams that aren't the highest in their conference are in the "root against" category. A&M/Vandy is a special case, though, since a Vandy win gives us a chance to win the regular season title by beating UK, but isn't as good for our NCAA chances as an A&M win would be.
For each conference, we want someone from the "root for" column to win the auto bid, and the "root against" teams to lose as much as possible. If a conference isn't listed, it's a one-bid league, so it doesn't matter to us who wins. Let me know if I need to change something.

Nice work!
I was trying to give you an upvote but my fat arse thumbs failed me
Question though.....why wouldnt we cheer for Vandy and if we beat UF, get the reg season crown? Or is this strictly for conf tourney action?

It's just for the SEC tournament. Since A&M is already a lock, them getting the auto bid is better for us than Vanderbilt would be.
We want USCe, UF and Bama to lose as much as possible, though, as well the "root against" teams in each of the other conferences. For the A&M/Vandy game, A&M winning would actually be better for our NCAA chances, but Vandy winning gives us a shot at the regular season title. There's an argument for both sides in that one.

Nothing will help LSU more than beating Kentucky. Georgia jumped 10 RPI spots for beating SC. SC is now 55 in RPI. LSU would jump to around 65 with a win and probably around 78 even with a loss. 2 wins in the SEC tourney in either situation should put LSU near 65 at worst. They can actually be close to 50 with a good run here.

With vandy getting housed, are we a lock for a top 4 seed in the sec tourney regardless of what we do today?

Yes LSU can finish no lower than 4th
