Tired of this crap as well. I'll stick with High School sports if I feel the need to catch a game.

Explain to me in a few sentences why it would bother you that players are allowed to do this.

Can you name one single “right” under the law men have that women do not? Just one. Going to own my conservative friends with this once you respond with an extremely sexist law that doesn’t apply to women. They are always saying everyone is equal under the law. Thanks in advance!

You missed the point entirely.

I don't give a shite if LSU puts Black Lives Matter all across the field or if the players are allowed to have social justice messages plastered across their helmets. What I'm asking about is fairness. Is every player going to be able to be able to use their platform for what's most important to them? Are they going to be treated like Drew Bress if that message isn't in reference to the BLM movement? Why is this message more important than the ones that I listed? None of these leagues have ever allowed for these kinds of messages before on uniforms even though players have constantly tried to find ways around it. Why now? Would it be ok for a player to have Women's Lives Matter, Hispanic Lives Matter on their uniform? Could Ika put Polynesian Lives Matter on his?

If wanting to enjoy football without being exposed to Marxist propaganda and race baiting is being a snowflake, then this country is completely fricked.

One more reason to quit watching or caring about NCAA teams, just like NFL, NBA, MLB. There is life beyond all this BS!

It's just always been funny to me that when some people complain they're "snowflakes" and when others complain they're not.

Absolutely. Football was fun when it was a relaxing weekend family activity free of all the political theater and indoctrination. Now, many of us will just move on to other such activities. I'll go back to watching it after the hacks get fired for running the business side of things into the ground and players and coaches get back to just playing sports.

Anything that shifts attention away from the actual athletic event will prove to be a distraction.

When that distraction starts causing a negative financial impact, it will be removed.

That is the problem. They won't be able to express themselves as they see fit. They will only be allowed to use socially acceptable PC patches.
Not to mention why should we care about the opinions of an eighteen year old athlete?

It is being thrown in our faces. Sports is a place where we can enjoy something separate from politics and social justice. Can't we just enjoy the damn game.

Nah. You are just pissed that some people haven't been cowed into submission and that many are not just going to keep subsidizing your crap. People like you claim that something "is just funny" when other people have principles and stick to them. It reminds you of the feckless being that you actually are.

I wasn't distracted one bit watching the Pelicans game last night. It didn't affect my viewing experience at all during the game as far as the floor and the jerseys. Now, TNT went overboard with the coverage prior to the game which wasn't really for me. Thankfully FSNO just covered basketball.
