A two-way contract is a professional sports contract which stipulates that an athlete’s salary is dependent upon the league in which the athlete is assigned to play. This is opposed to a one-way contract that would pay the same salary regardless of where the athlete is assigned to play.

Good for him. I hope he works his arse off. He has good skills but is raw. It isn't a million dollar deal but the training camp and G League money is at least something if he makes it. More than some of the frickboys criticizing him on here make in a year all while playing a game for a living.

Good representative of LSU. Good luck Naz!

Further, in accordance with the NBA and National Basketball Players Association collective bargaining agreement, NBA players will continue to be able to enter into two-way contracts. NBA two-way players will earn $77,250, prorated for days spent on an NBA G League roster, and the NBA rookie minimum salary, prorated for the days with their NBA team, for maximum potential earnings of $385,000 next season. Why are you so mad? Everyone is saying he shouldn't have left. That's correct.

Lol at the Naz haters. We have a group of ignorant hoops fans who shite on every one and done player who comes through here. They can’t accept it’s part of the game for 20+ years now.

IDK why anyone would criticize him. I mean, there were some of the stupidest picks in this draft I've ever seen. Why Naz didn't get picked is beyond me. Naz was projected a 1st round pick by everybody. IDK, something must have happened in an interview. Him not getting picked makes no sense.

TWolves have a wide open front court other than KAT. He has a chance to get some real minutes if he develops

Naz came in extremely overweight and out of shape that’s why he fell off. Most people who pay attention know that Naz wasn’t big on leaving his dad has been pushing this for two years and it seems like his lack of prep for the draft was kindve rebellious towards his dad. Everything our coaches say about Naz is exactly the opposite, he’s a hard worker with great attitude who loves learning and wants to improve a lot. Some people hate any one and done from LSU and it’s pure ignorance.

Certainly not every one and done player made the right choice though

Naz didn’t really want to leave LSU and if hedve come to the combine at his playing weight and in basketball shape hedve easily been a first rounder. The point is with Naz it wasn’t his decision alone so it’s hard to blame him plus he has a contract already. He’ll be an NBA player year 1 what he decides from here will shape his career but I do agree it’s not an ideal start for him.

Mr. Eyes, you need to fix your very own eyes and go watch tape of Naz Reid. The man could not walk and chew gum at the same time, and had THE WORST use of a pivot foot I have ever seen for a guy with his size and what he should have been. He was terrible with his back to the basket, could not dribble, fell down a lot then tried to shoot from the hip where Wee Man could have blocked him. Without the correct use of a pivot foot led to his falling and off balance down low, and how many times someone punched the ball out from him. The only thing he did OK and only sometimes was shoot a sissy looking set shot from 3 pt range. For 6-10 250 pounds he was weak.

He was not good and all the hype coming out of high school led to his downfall. He and his dad should have changed their pre-determined minds that Naz was a one and done!

Mr. Dub. You need to realize that NBA teams DO NOT drat players on what they have done, the draft them on potential. If you watched Naz you'd know he could dribble and create his own shot. He could rebound and could block shots. He was not good at playing with his back to the basket mainly because it was something he was never taught. Footwork is something that can be taught and learned but must be practiced. And furthermore, the dude is still only 19 years old. Maybe you should try understanding all the factors that go into making a player better, what can and can not be taught and what attributes make a player desirable to NBA teams.

Your sarcastic attempt to degrade shows things about you I doubt you'd want people to know.

Well, I knew it was something off the court that happened. I mean, Boston takes Grant Williams. Williams is a good basketball player, but he is barley 6'5" tall and has not length and he won't play anywhere except PF. He was a good college player but he has reached his ceiling, Naz hasn't touched his ceiling yet. Of course these are things these people that criticize him are clueless about. They never played the game, never studied the game and don't know a basketball from a pumpkin.

Same path Blakeney and Brandon Sampson used to make it to the NBA.

If Naz works, he'll make it. Hopefully he takes this as motivation and grinds his way into a permanent contract.
