Run the bases....no, that's not it.
Hit well, good hitting......no, that's not it.
Manage a roster, develops players.....no, that's not it.
Knows when to leave a pitcher in and when to take them out...no, that's not it.

You're right, that 2009, weekend line-up, Louis Coleman, Ranaudo , those guys were legit, that was fun to watch. Even in recent years....going back to Nola, we've had good pitchers, Alex Lange......etc.

Damn, these names.
Some good one's.
I'm not saying this just off these pitchers we've named...just in general....with what's come through here, I don't see how anyone can say they we've not greatly underachieved. And I don't want to hear about parity, yes I know freaking Coastal Carolina won it all one year. This is spiraling down out of control right now.

He’s good at tinkering. In fact, I think he’s a really good tinkerer. He’s as consistent a tinkerer as you’ll find in all of college baseball. He’ll be tinkering with this lineup till the cows come home.

Anyone remember how bad pitching was the year before Dunn
Cain’s recruiting has a lot of misses
Players being cut if not contributors in year one no chance to develop
