These are greats stats and my hats off to Daniels for what he is doing.
But these stats make what Burrow ‘19 did all the more amazing !

I’m just worried the late reads and under thrown balls will keep us from winning important games we could have won. It’s been chronic. He seems to be reading faster recently. Hopefully he can stop under throwing guys deep.

Either way you slice it we have two really good QBs. Now we need to get Rickey Collins up to speed so everyone can raise hell for him being #1. Lol Such is the life of an LSU QB. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

It’s what Burrow did in the postseason. Compare the regular season only, passing and rushing and you realize Daniels is having an exceptional season so far.

The key for that Arky game going in were the other receivers/TE in Thomas, Hilton, Taylor, etc. plus the ability to be balanced with the run. Teams will take Nabors away, especially those with better DBs. It’ll be that way every game. Nothing shocking from Captain Obvious here.

If he plays like the first half? Yep.

If he plays like the second half or MSU game? Nope.

I mean what more do you want? We have played 4 games 3 vs teams from P5 conferences. He is one of the best quarterbacks PASSING wise in the nation.

If hes late on his reads or he cant throw a deep ball then who can?

Jayden Daniels is #10 nationally in yards per attempt while also being #17 in completion percentage BTW.

He is one of the best passers in the nation.

Y’all still reaching with this “1st half” bs

He was 20/29 for 300+ & 4 TDs for the entire game. That’s an above average game for any qb.

You expecting “2nd half” Jayden or MSU Jayden is completely unrealistic. That would be either 11/13 for 3TDs or 30/34 for 2TDs (& rush for 2).

What tf kind of expectation or standard is that??

Are you saying Thomas wasn’t the key to that game once Daniels got in rhythm?

No. What I’m saying is good luck completely taking Nabers away.

Yes, it is. And he’s capable of doing that every game. Why are fans not allowed to complain when he’s not even close to that?

Bc he did it in a game you’re complaining about. Why complain about a poor first half when his overall performance was exceptional?

He’s done more than enough to earn this fanbases trust. At this point, you either like him or you don’t. He’s bound to have a bad game & hopefully we still win the game, but he’s not a mistake away from losing his job.

If the others don’t step up, he isn’t getting 100+ yards a game. It is really that simple.

His balls were underthrown in the first half or else we'd have had a huge lead.
I got chided after the Mississippi State game for pointing several of his TD throws that game were severely underthrown. We just weren't playing a great secondary or they'd have been picks.
When we play top tier secondaries he better come outta the chute in rhythm because there will be no room for underthrown balls.

Imagine what his stats would be in he lead his receivers and didn't throw behind them. He's a good QB but to say that he doesn't need to improve on certain things is just being silly.
