I’d bet under if I had to bet

But I wouldn’t bet real money on it

Now if it were DEriq King id run to the beau & lay down money on it being over

. I think we were like 70/30 passing to running and I think it’ll be more like 60/40 or 55/45 pass to run next year.

70/30? We ran the ball 47% of all plays!

Yes. Ed Ingram played a lot, with Charles hurt. Deculus is a returner and is very confident going forward. Thomas will be healthy and he’s going to be a monster. I feel good about rosenthal and Hines, and the big guys coming in.

47.5 actually and I was wrong. Sure as hell felt like more than that to me. I know the last 3 games we passed a lot more and obviously I’m remembering it wrong.

I guess what I’m trying to say is if we run the ball nearly 50% of the time again next year I believe it’ll be more explosive yards per play. So the pass game wouldn’t need to be as explosive as it was this year. And I could be completely wrong, just guessing we’ll be more successful on the ground next season.

IMO it depends on how he develops, who we get as OC and how they feel about our run game next season

So Ensminger is retiring? I thought he was our OC?

Under. The second most passing TD’s in one season by an LSU QB is 28.

If he throws 30 with 10 ints or less, then I'll be very happy. His final season will be epic like Joe's.

If it's under, LSU is 9-3 or worse
That makes no sense. What if TDP and Emery combine for 2500 yards?

Way under. After Johnson takes over, Maybe by game 2 or 3, Myles enters the transfer portal.

that number sounds about spot on- I've already had several conversations about how hard its gonna be to crash back down to earth next year, and said that poor Brennan will probably be a really good but mere mortal QB with 30-35 YDs and close to 300 yds/gm - the kind of season we would've

With 12 regular games in a fb season, an average of 2 tds per game is pretty good in the SEC so I would say under.

... but now we are ruined, and will just stare into the distance and mutter about the Golden Year... *sigh*

Yes. Plus our two featured backs will be ready to play in the SEC.

It would be a reflection of the degree of success of our system. I'm assuming that our system is unchanged, and that our defense takes a bit of a step back next year. Your example of TDP and Emery getting 2500 yards seems very unlikely. If Brennan averages under 3 passing TDs a game that means we are probably in trouble, our schedule is definitely pretty hard next year with a lot of our opponents returning good QBs, and with it being an even-year road schedule.
