Tiger Rag editor @RonHigg says sources told him #LSU QB Myles Brennan’s stats from Saturday’s scrimmage: -72% pass completion. -6/7 in the red zone. -38/39 on calling correct pass protections.

In before someone claims our defense will be shite. Ha in all reality, if MB can lead our offense to 30-35 ppg I think we are going to win a lot of football games and the defense will get better.

The best stat to read from that is 38/39 calling the correct pass protections

Sounds like Coach O was trying to keep the fire under arse in his interview this morning.

I can't express how much I hope so.

Yes I would assume to think. I remember a while back in a interview on otb when Coach O said he was Steve’s right hand man. Would make a real good trio of Steve Russ and Linehan in the booth!!!

inb4 “the defense sucks”

I love hearing about the offense doing great in practice because I haven't had to worry about the LSU defense for a lo0ng time now.

30-35ppg is the worthless offenses that miles has produced.

Most importantly, if these next two season under Brennan begins a pattern of QB development and performance (Burrow, Brennan), it will make QB recruits line up at the door. For better/worse, an offense is built around a QB. Could we be seeing the beginning of another golden age for the LSU Tigers? I think so...

I remember USC back in their hay day would seemingly have all the 5 star QBs lined up...OSU and UGa to an extent as well (though I don't understand the Uga)

dude is gonna have 30 and 5 at 60 percent, but because of Burrow people here will still be like, "is this motherfricker blind or something, is he actively trying to lose games!"

Said it earlier this year. Brennan can go out and complete 60+ percent of his passes and throw for 30 TDs with only 8 INTs, and he's going to get criticized. Those are terrific numbers, but they pale in comparison to what we witnessed last season.

That's how insanely good Joe Burrow was in 2019.

How many seasons did Miles’ LSU teams average 30-35 in SEC play?

Joined to see what all the Russ chatter was about after that al.com article on him today. Knew him in Birmingham. Great guy.. great coach.. and we are excited for him.

He’s serving as the game management coordinator also ...... since he replaced Jorge Munoz .... so my guess is he’ll be standing next to O on the sidelines like Munoz did. I bet he’s wearing a headset tho
