Put mindset in this position: you're being an a-hole during a game because the Tigers are playing like crap and your wife decides to leave you on the spot. Then they come back to win and this makes you happy (obviously). After a day or two, do you think your happiness for the win would out-weigh the fact that she left? And don't say, "well it depends on who they're playing..." because if that's the case, she's screwed.

Living in Texas and watching games with mostly Longhorns , anything more than a polite hand clapping is considered rude . They look at me like a bastard at a family reunion . My wife and son cut me a lot of slack .

There are people I won't watch a game with because they make it unenjoyable. I won't even discuss LSU sports with some of them. I live and breathe LSU sports too, but if it affects your life like that, you need to take several steps back.

Well I can understand the Mississippi meltdown. I remember going to TD right after the time ran out and every post about two pages back, was a variation of fire Miles with cuss words and almost pure hate. People where pissed about that game for days on here.
I turned off my tv in the fourth quarter of 2008 Florida and UGA games because it was simply horrible. I've never thrown anything before though. That reminded me of that Bama fan on youtube a few years back though

Hey, I love your passion for LSU football... I can relate...
I complain about some calls, toss a pillow into floor...after a bad loss, I am very quiet and down...
I don't drink and I don't curse, and when my wife tells me to dial it down because the kids are watching how I respond to the game....well, I listen to my wife...
