That's ridiculous. frick the Christmas parade. LSU is playing for a championship tomorrow. If your wife doesn't understand that and gets mad at you over it, then frick it and it is what it is. No way in hell any half-arse true LSU fan should be expected to go to a stupid Podunk christmas parade when we have a game during that same timeframe. Hell, even if it's just an regular season game, I wouldn't leave to go to that mfer...much less the fricking sec title game. You must be crazy lol.

Damn! I have it made. The question I get on Friday or during the week is, what time does LSU play? She knows everything is shutdown 1hr before kickoff.

I'm sure there's some t-shirt Bama fan at the parade that will make her feel like a woman again.

Not to get too deep, but she should care about things that matter to you as well. LSU in the SECCG isn't an every year occurrence and this is arguably the best team LSU has ever had.

As other posters have stated, there is Christmas every year. And it's only going to be Dec 7th, with many more events ahead. There is only one SECCG with 12-0 LSU tomorrow.

My point... sorry man and good luck.

I was forced to go to wedding at the end of the 2005 LSU-Bama game in overtime. I put a curse on the couple, they divorced with 3 years. Poetic justice.

Wrong answer. Tell her to use her mobile device to record a video of the parade, and you will watch it with her Sunday as you get over your celebratory hangover.

Bruh, my wife told me last Saturday that we had date night planned with another couple from the kids’ school. I just looked at her and said, “it’s the SEC championship game.” I haven’t heard another word about it.

My wife wouldn't ask me to do anything around the time of a LSU game. After 15 years, she already knows the answer.

After I asked her to marry me, my soon to be wife said she wanted to wait until the summer so it didn’t conflict with football season.

I wanted to take the ring back just so I could propose all over again.

I told my wife that we will be late to a Christmas party we have been invited to. I’m not leaving the house until the game is over. She knows how I am with LSU and she understood.
