A team that looks like they simply did not have enough reps in fall camp. All three phases did not look game ready. I appreciate not wearing out their legs in camp, but at the same time there has to be enough reps for cohesion.

Exactly why the Southern game should have been moved to Week Zero once FSU moved Duquesne.

Scheduling teams that have already played a game as LSU’s first game is not a sane action. Why do it? Too much risk of being exposed…..even if you win.

Maybe our True Fresh TE would know who to block on extra points for starters if we had an extra game

Somebody please tell the linebackers they’re allowed to tackle behind the line of scrimmage.

Yep, was hoping the greatest AD in the history of all sports could get this done.

It takes 2 to tango. Did you ask Southern if they would be willing to move?

Not to derail but I’m in the camp that thinks FSU shouldn’t have been our opener. We need to cool it with these high profile openers until we’re good again. Lol

Well good luck with that…we have Fla St again, Clemson and OU as our starting opponents thru 2028.

We are LSU. Shouldn’t be scared to play anyone at anytime. They just have to take their lumps and keep getting better. Now BK knows what team he has. Now just do your job and Coach the team

Why does LSU have so many low information fans. Do us all a favor and look up what the requirements are for a week 0 game. I'm tired of posting it over and over for you guys.

Some timelines:

The FSU-Duquesne game was scheduled for week 0 in february of 2021.

The LSU-Southern game was scheduled in 2020 after nearly a year of working out the details.

The LSU-FSU two game neutral site series was agreed to in 2018.

Kinda agree here; I'm used to the LBs being the top tacklers on the team. They were pretty quiet for most of the game.

Southern's administration would scrub our locker room with a toothbrush to get us to schedule them in football regularly.

If LSU wanted that game in week 0, and convinced the NCAA to approve it (and LSU can lean on their weak asses for that), Southern would have jumped no problem to week 0.
