think the average LSU football fan could coach this team and put a better offensive product on the field.
There is no way you actually believe this.
The average lsu fan couldn't tell you the wr route tree numbers without Google.

What many don't see, hear, realize......is that he has to manage the media and LSU fans who - it's true - are extremely spoiled, unrealistic. After LSU fans histrionic meltdown last week, Kelly needed to protect the players, team and even the "fans from self-destructing" and jeopardizing what we ALL want.
Kelly did what he had to do to avert another psychological, morale busting meltdown which can/does GREATLY affect the entire program, coaches, team, players and their success/failure - wins/losses going forward. Kelly showed, proved the nuanced ability, vast experience and professionalism needed as a Coach & Media Manager/Spokesperson to dissect, explain the enormously competitive battle occurring between 22 highly skilled, very strong/big/fast players + positions on the field; along with their equally talented, highly competitive (and paid) respective coaching staffs.....giving it "all they've got" on every single play. UNDER INCREDIBLE PRESSURE, IN A FAST MOVING - TIMED GAME, WITH HUNDREDS OF RULES...IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT, COMPLICATED, TECHNICAL to WIN ANY GAME - AGAINST ANY OPPONENT - AT THIS VERY HIGHEST PEAK OF COLLEGIATE LEVELS!
I think it was perfectly appropriate, even wise, to do (handle) how/what Kelly did in that press conference. 99.7% of those present or watching have not, nor likely ever will, play or coach football, or any sport, at this "Best of the Best" SEC Level. And can not, will not understand all the parameters involved. Especially coaching, performing beneath 100K+ passionate fans in a Stadium/Environment more intense, loud than the Coliseum in Rome!
LSU just beat the FLORIDA GATORS - a Storied Program, from an Incredible State, University that has been consistently fielding winning Football Teams for over 100 years!
LSU is 3-0 & Highly Ranked. I am truly Grateful, Humbled to Be Here as a Loyal LSU Fan & Graduate!!

remember when starting the year 3-0 was a given
now this mfer wants to act like it’s some crowning achievement
lets revisit this “spoiled” comment come mid november to see if it has any merit

BK has admitted this. He said last year in response to a question about LSU fans and their expectations. He said they know football, they know what to expect and when you’re not playing your best etc etc.

He’s treating reporters like Saban but doesn’t have the resume’, the hardware nor respect Saban has from the media. He’s about to get a piece of humble pie.

Saban was like that when his resume wasn't elite.

We have to realize that we are on a message board and most fans DGAF about the incident. On a message board you have haters and lovers as we get catagorized. The haters on here dont like it when BK does anything that involves emotional leadership.
When BK came here he was too distant and nonchalant
When BK pounded his fist on the table he was out of control
When BK chewed out Hilton last yr he was too insensitive. CH has his two best career games after that...
When BK cuts off a reporter with a negative leadoff question after a big win that put us at 3-0 he is hiding his ignorance.
So just face it there are people on here who hate him no matter what and those who love him for no matter what. CEO had the same thing happening to him until he won a Natty and all the crow eating threads came out and then he swirled the drain immediately after.
I thought he was 100% in his right to hand Cauble his arse in that situation at that time.
