the last I looked BEFORE Florida, was that LSU was a 3 point dog to Ole Miss, a 4 point dog to Alabama, a 2 point dog to Arkansas, and a 5 point dog to Texas A&M.

This was after the Auburn game, and before LSU beat Florida. If they beat Kentucky.....they will be ranked about 22 or so more than likely.....and after seeing bama play the last weeks, and then A&M should have three losses....I suspect Arkansas could end up being the biggest dog....but NONE are heavy underdogs....as this troll tries to suggest.

If we were to have won on that Hail Mary, I'd have called that the luckiest comeback I've ever seen and we'd have won a game we had absolutely no business winning because MSU was clearly the better team. And I'd blast Mullen for taking his foot off the gas way too early and playing very soft on O and D.

Let's remove LSU from the equation and take Florida State, for example, playing Georgia Tech. With the first string players in the game, FSU leads 34-10 early in the 4th quarter and is completely dominating. Then FSU brings in their second and third team guys and stops being aggressive on O and D. In the fourth quarter, Ga Tech scores a few touchdowns, one aided by a bad turnover by FSU, to make the score look respectable, and they lose 31-24.

I'm an unbiased observer of that game, and if I know the entire story (not just the final score) I call that game a rout. It's one of those where the ESPN guys say "it wasn't as close as the score indicated." Yes, Tech came back late after FSU called off the dogs, but that doesn't change what really occurred in the game. FSU routed Tech.

Now maybe we're just quibbling over definitions. MSU was clearly the better team, so if you can agree to that, then we're ok.

I would just like for LSU to win out. The rest doesn't matter to me.

However, no debate that if we play Miss.St ten times we win once maybe twice.
