As far as winning out, it isn't unrealistic. You can't count out LSU at home, and that's where the two toughest remaining opponents have to play. LSU has a reasonable chance to win each individual game. Winning out is astronomically unlikely, but it isn't implausible.

Not sure I would call a 5 point loss a rout.
If you don't think that loss to MSU was a rout, you're just a blind homer.
MSU thoroughly dominated us from the start. The only reason the final score looked better was because they stopped playing, both on offense and defense, after they went up 34-10 in the 4th quarter (by the way, that was a bad coaching move by Mullen). If they'd have kept playing, they'd have expanded the lead.

Did you read anything else I said? I said they dominated us for almost the entire game but a "rout" suggests the final score was like the Auburn game. If Harris had somehow completed the Hail Mary, that wouldn't have changed the fact that we got dominated. Would it have still been a rout by State if we had won the game?

Again, nothing you say at all matters. Back to the sidewalk, Neg.

guys stop fighting...you both are correct. We were dominated but only lost the game by 5. However, no debate that if we play Miss.St ten times we win once maybe twice.

LSU will be heavy underdogs for the rest of the season minus Kentucky. With that being said, winning 1 of these 4 is the most likely scenario.

Oh, really? An LSU win means a top 25 ranking. LSU could end up being favored in every remaining game depending on how future opponents fair in the meantime. Not only is it possible but likely that LSU will be favored over A&M and Arkansas.

Each game is huge going forward, not only for the win, but for improvement. Schedule sets up nicely....three straight games at home....by the time the last two games roll around.....these young guys should have enough experience on the road.......doubtful on 10-2....but never know. That said, got to make sure continue building this week by beating KY>

This won't happen.
Mississippi State isn't losing more than twice. We'd need to win a three-way tie-breaker involving them.
