Sometimes during games I get pretty furious when people complain about the defense. We just held an SEC team at their own place with no touchdowns and one of the best 4th & goal stands I remember in recent years. Even with our atrocious offense in Lambeau when we could not sustain any type of drive, the defense only yielded 16. He's doing his job and doing it well. Miles was doing him a big disservice by making his job harder. The whole team needed to move on from this boring as well as ineffective offensive game plan that was losing games.

You can definitely tell that because of Aranda Miles tried to replicate 2011 with run the ball and play defense expecting the defense to bail us out every game

Now, I am concerned about the game Sean White just had, but I think we'll finish top 3 in the SEC

Defense isn't perfect, but it is stout and getting better every week.

There is no reason that if we hold all teams under 20 pts, that we don't win with our O potential.

I think the O philosophy that is about to be opened up keeps the D on the sidelines more, fresher and roaring to go. I expect less Offensive production from other teams in the future.

Fun fact:

- Through 4 games LSUs defense has given up a total of 4 touchdowns.

- Through 4 games Ole Miss's defense has given up a total of 13 touchdowns.

- Through 4 games Alabama's defense has given up a total of 7 touchdowns.

I seem to be recalling an inordinate amount of missed tackles this season.

Fun fact: alabama and ole miss have played each other, and we have not played an offense yet that is significantly comparable to either.

Yea, this is dumb. They played each other and Ol miss played FSU. Alabama played USC.
I will agree that I think our Def is better than Ol Miss, but this Bama defense is sick....and it makes me nauseous just typing that.

Same here my boss keeps bashing LSU's defense, makes me want to take him outside and throw him off a tower. No understanding concept of wtf this defense has done. They are on the field 75% of the game and still holding offenses down.

I believe once the offense becomes productive Aranda is going to gamble a little more. I.e. corner/safety blitzes.

Great point Schwartzy. Our DB's have not looked overly great thus far. Much still needs to be fixed.
