I get it Charles... but programs are built by fans in the stands. Even if you had the best players on earth but couldn’t get people to watch how much do you make? Beyond that, the stadium is a little bit of a lighter complexion. How about “All Lives Matter?” Why couldn’t they come out in support of that? Also, why is it the cop is a bad guy when he arrested criminals that happen to be black? Are blacks now above the law? So LSU now supports and protests for a rapist because he is black? How about stay neutral don’t push one or the other. Let the courts work it out.

The fundamental riff is how the conservative side doesn’t (or can’t) understand what the BLM message truly represents.

What we are seeing on so many stages is how the message has been distorted and bastardized through violence as well as the recoil of so many (for the violence they see or they might be prejudiced and never really knew they were).

This year has been so chaotic due to the pandemic, the election, etc.

I get what BLM truly means......some do. Some don’t. It really sucks that the message has been hijacked by those who have ill will.

The ANTIFAs of the world are up there with the most vile.....they are NOT BLM.

I'm happy to not have football interfere with hunting and fishing anymore.

When I see a protest I just think “wow look at them wasting more of their own time getting nowhere.” Then I go on with my day.
Me too for protest but what's been going on is rioting and intimidation. Maybe not from college football players but they are promoting a false narrative that is getting innocent people assaulted EVERY single day. Enjoy your upgraded tickets. I stopped supporting TAF about 2 months ago.

If LSU pulls their heads out of their asses I will support them again, until then I will have about an extra $5K each fall for fishing and hunting upgrades.

Wow! I'm a black man and U.S.Army
Veteran that is not a criminal but has been discriminated against by police on many occasions. I've had guns pulled on me, illegally searched for no reason, detained for no reason and the list goes on. What you people dont understand is ,that most of these black athletes know what it feels like and have fear that the guys that are being gun down could be them. Why is that so difficult for you all to understand. What people need to be focused on is police reform.

Yep. And he is not at the heart of the true understanding.

Think about this, do you honestly believe all those LSU players who wanted to march (which was most of them) would like to see the violence and burn everything down? O loves these young men......do you think the kids he has come to take as his own are of the same cloth as the violent contingent?

There may be some players who support the chaos but most dont. Most of them have led lives as black people (I’d say more poor than middle class) not other nationalities that are honestly faced with day to day conditions that are better.

If you think racism is all gone and things are peachy, then your eyes aren’t open (in some cases they don’t have the chance to see) or you are letting a racist perspective guide you. Does it mean that you are a bad person? Not really in many cases. You’re just ignorant to the plight that still exists.

These kids have lived and are living it.....still

I've said this before. The problem with alot of people who want to disrespect the flag, veterans and our country is that at the age of 19 they never had to make out a will. They'll never understand what it was like. I love LSU. Been a season ticket holder for 20 years. Not any more. BLM is no better than the kkk. I will not be a part of it.

My man, I have heard the experiences. The true experiences that aren’t so rosy.....and I am talking about Star athletes who still got profiled and such while proudly representing the PNG. Even their accolades as Tigers couldn’t shield them from the ugly truth.

It happened. It wasn’t some politically driven angle. It was the ugliness that is still firmly there today.

Edited to remove any perceived slight at Donald Trump.

99.9% of the people involved in these escalated events are CRIMINALS that are RESISTING arrest. In trouble, get arrested and call your lawyer.

Thank you for your service. I never said that blacks don’t struggle or have it tough. I know sports is a way out for a lot of these young men. Just as the Marines was a way out for me. If my business was flying a certain flag or affiliated with a certain group of white hats, would I not run off others who don’t support that cause? It’s simple, be inclusive, choose inclusive names and don’t discriminate Or support based on color... if you do, that is racism.
