he had some great years, but I struggle to say he was great overall when he went 15-11 in the SEC (10-10 against the West) his last 3+ years, all with elite recruiting classes.
I'm not diminishing his successes here, but the last few years took a lot of the luster off for me.
His record from 2012- the day he was fired would be good for 3rd best win % in lsu history.

Miles in 2 months with Kansas signed a better Dline recruiting class then LSU.

You incessantly called him a retard.
His seal clap was retarded.

I found it endearing. It was the retarded/endearing schism, lol.

He talked plenty. You just didn't want to hear it.

Damn....winningest coach in LSU history, no major scandals, a National Championship, supports our program to this day.
Thanks Classic...that's a true and classy statement.

It grew on me. I never said to fire him bc I thought all he needed to do was allow someone to run the offense. I just wanted him to be the figure head and recruit.

on his way to 4-5 win seasons
Because that was the best he could do at LSU?

His teams at LSU were loaded with talent and were more talented than probably 90% of our opponents.
Do you think he will recruit like he did at LSU?

And we get even less of that now.

He picked up where he left off at LSU. He did not sign one OL in this class.

How could anyone dislike Les Miles???....he just burned out at the end....but.....he had some pretty d*mn good years here, too....we needed a change....but that usually occurs sooner or later for most programs.....nope....I'm not ever gonna' slam Les

Think he is s good guy,and will coach looser with much lower expectations at Kansas.

It is a shadow of itself the last couple years - see firings.

Specifically said as a coach and that he's a great ambassador for college football. I just didn't like his coaching style.

Neither am I and didn't. As I said I'm very appreciative of what he did for LSU.

I have no idea.

I appreciate everything Les did for the program while he was here, so I'm not gonna slam him either.
But don't worry, there's plenty here that will.

Just saw video of a kid from Oklahona he signed who was committed to KSU but pulled off his sweatshirt to show a TTU t shirt, then took that off to show his bare chest with body paint and a KU on his chest and Jayhawk and his number on his back. Then, proceeded to bash OU and OSU for letting him leave the state. Class act. Welcome aboard

We were spoiled then,
and delusional now.
