So what's the law on drinking on campus? Like I said it's been years. Cans only? Or can I have bottled beer?

Anything you want. You could literally walk around with a handle of wild turkey, drinking straight from the bottle and wouldn't be told a thing.

Get off on Washington. Park by Kirby Smith. Go to The Chimes or Louie's .

Forget the hayfield lots, you can't go right only left and we spent an hour just getting out of there it's a nightmare.

Wise to get there at noon. Plenty of time, so I'd just park as close as possible in the hayfield lots where you know you'll find a spot.

These hayfield lots are off Nicholson? Somebody said you can only exit left after the game. That would be the wrong way for me as I'd need to get on 10 west. Is this accurate?

Washington. To Highland. Park on Or near Highland . After game get back on Highland . Go to Washington . Hit I-10 . Be in Port Allen 20 mins after getting to your car. Problem solved.

Where would be the most ideal place to park if I'm keeping an ice chest full of beer in the back of my car? So I can just keep walking to and from my car. Am I overthinking this?

Park on the north side of campus by Kirby Smith in the free lots. Much easier to go North back to I-10 west after the game.

Too far to walk back and forth from most free parking lots, just for a couple of beers. Why don't you take a 'cajun-cooler" packed with a 12 pack+ and just discard the double/triple plastic bags/ice, when empty !
