I hear ya OP. Cancer got my dad in 2006. He was a great tiger fan. So many memories with him in TS as well as Omaha and the PMAC. Last trip I got to take with him was to the Arizona St game in 05. Great memories I will cherish forever. LSU sports molded my father and I's relationship. I will always love LSU for this.

You'll always have that memory. Be sure to make some of those memories with your own children. They'll always remember them as well. May your dad rest in peace, there's no more suffering for him. Prayers sent your way.

Sorry for your loss buddy - that memory will be with you for ever. He'll be up there with my dad, pulling for the Tigers. Once a Tiger - always a Tiger.

So sorry for your loss and at the same time I am so glad you shared this on here.
Life is full of joy and it is also full of heartache. You never "get over" the deaths of those you love. You will miss them the rest of your life and I am very much doing that on what is now yesterday (December 16) because my youngest brother died (suicide) 19 years ago on this date and my Mom died 18 years ago on this date.

Sorry for your loss. My dad died last year on the same day as the Clemson loss. My father in law died this year the day before the Bama loss.
In both cases, it taught me to keep things in perspective...that time on earth with loved ones is way more important than football.
