I have literally said 'we'll see' several times in this thread and others
I like the depth and tools on this LSU team. I don't believe we have any superstars but a some with potential.
I also happen to think the power will come with this team, with the chance for several from the 1-7 in the order to hit double-digit HRs. Nobody else seems to think that's going to happen.
But will it happen? It didn't last year. Without proven stars you don't know what to expect

And you'd be wrong, he landed Daniel Dickinson who was easily one of the top players in the portal this last cycle. He was an all-american.
You also dont land the #1 portal class but not signing guys a bunch of other teams would want.
He also landed Luke Holman last portal class, how on earth was that not a top land?

And considering the amount of time Tony spent with Holman's agent in Omaha, it's impossible to argue Tennessee didn't want him.

Look at the CWS Finals last year. Those were the clear-cut 2 best teams in college baseball nearly the entire season from start to finish
