Don't know about poverty, but after I got my nice e-mail from the LSU ticket office" thanking me for all of my prior support,however........." couldn't really justify $1500 ish for a ticket.

I've never been able to afford going to the National Championship game. This year I could pull it off, but I can't justify spending $6K (Tickets for me and the wife, plane tickets, hotel for 3 nights in the quarter, and food and drink money) to go see a football game.
