He is a good guy. He was nicknamed "Instant Offense." He had a great shot, and I remember a Kentucky game when Tree shut Melvin Turpin down.

Of the Crayola crowd you mention, Lionel "Tree" Green was probably the best player of the group. Tree was all-SEC and along with a fellow "color man" Al Green, helped guide the 1979 Tigers to Dale Brown's first SEC title and LSU's first in 25 years. Oliver and Dennis Brown were both tremendous bench players for the Tigers.
