As is everything posted out there.

It was my primary purpose.

I could easily believe it about Arkansas due to the potential for mining Tyson and Walmart money.

I would need to look into who sponsors Missouri but several prominent people in the business and financial world are Mizzou alumni so it would not surprise me if they are ahead of LSU, nor would it surprise me if they were not.

LSU is competitive, I have no doubt about that, and I would expect them to be in the top 15, But their collective is not top 2 (as the OP asserted) in the NIL world, probably not top 5. And don't really need to be if the team wins and the powers that be are judicious about how they spend.

Ohio State has a $21 million dollar roster based on retaining a lot of kids, especially on defense, that would have been 4th RD NFL draft picks at minimum. That doesn't describe LSU's roster of draft eligible players.

And LSU isn't hurting on the NIL front. The HC tried to dunk on his ex-employer by gleefully pointing out the advantage in resources he was hired into. Implying it was going to be easier and that's what held him back.
Fans and media at his former stop prior to LSU had a different take. One that seems to have had some merit

this says LSU is #7 in the country

I know there's many more sources too. Independent studies have shown it in the top 5.

You can look at facts to correlate with these and draw your own conclusions. LSU is 7th in the country in NIL deals. Of provided records on NIL deals LSU is 2nd in the country on what's PUBLIC.

LSU consistently gets top 10 recruiting class if not top 5. LSU has some of the highest paid NIL athletes across many sports. Look at not just their spending in football but as an athletic department as a whole. It's not hard to see it.

The problem is BK not LSU's NIL money/resources.

How do you know that one or more defensive players “threatened” to depart the program?

That is looking at athletics related to the university and things like TAF which cannot currently participate directly in the NIL arena,

The ones you have not linked, got it.

Also, those are speculation, as most are.

True

I would say other sports are not necessarily relevant because the mechanism for generating that is a bit different depending on the sport and some are self-promotion, like Livy. But there is no doubt LSU have NIL money to spend.

I would agree available NIL capital is not a problem in general. I do not think BK is an issue in terms of recruiting.

Winning the West (or East) wasn't worth a bucket of warm spit in an era of college playoffs. Kelly’s first year he won three more conference games than Coach O’s last year.

Kelly told me, “ you don’t build it through the portal!” You supplement only. Of you lose a game you lose
The locker room because you have a bunch of mercenaries not ( your guys).
It takes longer this way but will build
Long term success. If you need an example take a look at this years FSU roster it’s litered with bama and other transfers

My 1 biggest take away:

He’s a fricking pussy and his team reflects that.

Arkansas has Walmart and Jerry Jones as donors, so it's not hard to believe they are up near the top.
