He has coached here before and understands the landscape

He can recruit, knows how/when to put pressure on the qb, and understands the sec and how dline should lineup and play

Lastly, he is fire on the sidelines which is what our guys need- defensively we need an edge and we ain’t getting it from our “process” head coach

I’m sure that’s what he means. Muschamp is actually a good coach when he’s only worried about the defense. And he can definitely recruit when he sticks around (but he doesn’t always as a DC). You just have to watch his buddy staff hires. He usually fricks that up on offense as a head coach, but it’s still a flaw with him.

Muschamp was an excellent d coordinator.

He’s AN answer. Most would prefer younger, but he’s never failed as a DC, he has revived some poor units (remember the 2015 Auburn D that was getting trucked early in the season by LF?), and he can definitely recruit.

There are downsides. He isn’t young anymore and he’s never stuck around to be a DC anywhere for long. That said, he may be done with the head coaching thing after two strikeouts. Who in the P5 would hire him now?

He’s rich as frick and has a cushy job at his alma mater where his son is on the team. He isn’t leaving UGA until the Kirby dynasty is done and over

Meh. He’s ALWAYS been looking to move up from wherever he is. If he got a DC offer from LSU, he would listen.

Idk but he’s probably some guy that can figure out what someone means even if they didn’t type it out perfectly based on context

You could have something there.

Muschamp has been a good assistant coach, but a mediocre (at best) head coach.

he did move up, and failed twice as a head coach at UF and USCe.

His "movin' on up" days are done.

More NIL money from boosters and time to recruit you clown. CBK AND HIS STAFF (HOUSE INCLUDED) has a better first 2 year record than Saban did and did it with 39 scholly players. Please leave and save us from your coaching brilliance.
