It will be interesting to see if Mullen will try to use Franks the same way he used Fitzgerald in '17. A lot of QB Power/Read option plays.

LSU gap control has to be sound this game and OLB have to set the edge. Can't let Franks get out on the perimeter.

Grantham is running a lot of 4-3 and dime packages at Florida. At Miss. State he ran 3-4 exclusively. Will be interesting to see if he tries to switch things up to free up blitzing.

If he tries to use Franks like Fitzgerald he will fail miserably.

Franks is nowhere near the athlete of '17 Fitzgerald. I would welcome Franks running the ball.

Not sure why Grantham would try to replicate his gameplan against LSU last year considering we have an entirely different offensive system and new QB.

Franks is not a good runner. Have you seen a entire gator game this year?

Frank's doesn't run well. He is hesitant. He can break a decent run occasionally but he isn't a big threat. So doubt that will worry the LSU staff. On the option, go after the back every time.

Doesn't have to be good runner, just has to be a threat.

They will hope to recreate last week's snore fest with MSU, but Burrow >>>> Fitzgerald

Gainesville will be rocking like Starkville in '17.

10th year anniversary of Tebow's "Promise" Championship run. Meaning Tebow and Gator alum will probably have those boys fired up pre-game.

Whenever everyone knows you suck as a runner you suck as a threat

Hell. '18 Fitzgerald is nowhere near the athlete as '17 Fitzgerald.

No, absolutely not. Franks cant run for shite. We will crowd the line, shut down the run game and force him to beat us in man to man in the air.

Its a lot harder to do when the DT are not playing the entire game while the O is 3 and out. Any team would love to do what they did to a team they demolished, but it's just not that simple

That 17 State game was the one game that I thought Aranda just got out coached. We were outflanked at the snap on so many run plays, and we were playing so far off their WRs.

I still don't understand what he was going for there. Oh well, I'm assuming that was just a fluke.

This is where I believe Mullen will test LSU's discipline.

Our OLB get up the field a lot, opening lanes for the QB. I hope Aranda is mindful of this heading into the swamp. We've been struggling with QB containment a lot, just haven't been burnt by it yet.

Exactly. The idea that Franks will beat us on the ground is laughable.

Trying to use Franks like Fitz is like trying to use Mettenberger like Fitz.
