Architecture firm will not be a shite firm from Louisiana. Construction company will not be from Louisiana.

It will be a highly politicized state-owned project. There will absolutely be Louisiana companies involved at the GC/Design level.

Tear down the Ag Center.

Build a new Ag Center-like arena set up for BB modeled after Dickies Arena in Fort Worth ( where the NCAA gym title meet was just held).

Then demolish the PMAC & repurpose the land for something else.

Kim is 100% right, and it's pretty damn embarrassing for LSU that one of their national championship winning coaches is saying this in public.

This should already have been completed years ago.

It's the PMAC for a reason. Womens basketball.....excting and awesome but not a $ maker.

thank you, little Kimmy can toss in her two cents worth, and that's fine, but unless there's some woke booster that has a boner on for intramural sports, that won't be the catalyst

I mean regardless of the women's program, it needs to be updated, whether there is a new arena or major renovations inside. Its not well taken care of and they are a bunch of programs who use it annually as well as functions outside of sports competitions, its not like this is just for one program.

Kim Mulkey is a coaching icon and the prestige of the program can not be measured. No women’s basketball does not make money but her value to the University is not measurable. The publicity LSU the brand is getting because of her and women’s basketball helps in recruiting, enrollment, fundraising and other money making ventures at LSU. I would say she and women’s basketball are well worth it. Build the dang facility.

Part of the reason she left Baylor was over a new arena and there's about a 1000% chance LSU made arena related promises to her when trying to hire her. She's certainly in more of a power position to make that statement than McMahon is.

she can make that statement all day long, LSU is a football school, always has, always will be, the people that control the purse strings could(n't) care less

That’s not my job, but I know we need a Natatorium.
Tiger Stadium is ancient history. It’s not in great shape.
And then there are always football facilities upgrades for the players such as the one going on now.

But Woodward would know.

as much as I love that place it's the absolute worst, most outdated, and un-fan friendly sports venue I've ever been to, and do you know why Wrigley Field and Fenway Park still exist? because they were built and people come*

100 % agree on the Natatorium. It’s terrible.
It can’t be that expensive to build a new one.
But the PMAC is past its prime. It needs either a gutting to the steel beams or build a new one
