Ben Voogd
This guy was never very good, but compared to Josh Gray, he was Pete Maravich.
I'm not a big Josh Gray fan, but lets not go overboard here.
Ben Voogd would go to the rec and be the worst player on the court, routinely.
Darrell Mitchell would go to the rec and you could tell wasn't trying and was still a lot better than everyone else.
Ben Voogd did not belong on a college basketball roster, at least no more than any other good player that plays at the rec. Brady did a great job recruiting him all the way from Oregon. It's as if he played darts with a map and wherever the dart landed thats where he was going to recruit some mediocre player from.
OP's list was absolutely terrible.
and the best 3rd down receiver is Jarvis Landry. Of all the talented receivers that have come through LSU, I trust him the most to make the catch when it matters most, and so did Mett.

Ron Brooks. He probably starts at CB on any other team in the country in 2010 and 2011 but sat behind two first rounders and a third rounder. Himself being what, a 4th rounder?

There can be no argument, the most unappreciated was Danny Macray (sp?) That guy was reviled, and he turned out to be an adequate NFL player.
Him being an adequate NFL player doesn't make up for the Arkansas game he single handedly loss for us, costing us a berth in a BCS bowl in 2010.

That's not that great of a list
agreed. Looks like you just picked your favorite players and called them underrated. Let me guess, you attended LSU early 2000's?

Kyle Williams and it isn't even close. Best NFL player to come out of LSU. Patrick Peterson will be next

Agree. People hated him, but its not his fault he got lined up man to man on an island against Percy Harvin.

He didn't cost us that game; the coaches did. His NFL career proved that he was misused at LSU. They were always putting him in single coverage on quick slot guys. That wasn't in his capabilities.

Ron Brooks. He one hell of a season in 2011 and was always great on speacial teams. I remember those two picks he took to the house !

Ron Brooks played like a superstar late in his career, on special teams and in the honey badger role. Jonathan Zenon won the SEC championship game for us, and Stevan Ridley was vastly underrated while he was here.
