To be fair, I didn't see anyone in this thread say that.
The points brought up in this thread about the concerns of our team thus far are valid. Our offense is regressing from last year. Our defense is improved but has still shown in a few games this year extreme difficulty in getting off the field. Our o-line has had one good game (UGA) and has looked abyssmal in others. These are all valid concerns especially when you consider that the toughest part of our schedule is ahead of us.

As I pointed out a few posts ago, the problem is the predictability of this offense. PERIOD.
Spelling out PERIOD after your statement doesn't make it necessarily correct...even if you type it in caps. Your analysis is very shallow IMO.
The two most important aspects of any offense is the QB and the OLine. When both are weaknesses, you have problems.
Our offense overall is pretty bland because we aren't able to get deep into the playbook due to the problems. Crowton's offense builds on itself. When the basics aren't working, there is only so much you can do.

ABC

t has the potential to be a great one

ABC owns ESPN and Herbie and Brent have featured games of the week at 7PM CDT, and occaisionally CBS will produce a 7PM CDT feature game like last week with Florida. With the new contract, this may be the case, but the LSU VA Tech game two years ago was on ABC prime time.
LSU v VT was on ESPN

A few years ago FSU was an A Plus playing A Plus ball and LSU was a C minus program playing F ball. OK has 2 losses - maybe three after this week, ND, MI, the U, GA, TN, AU (we'll see),MS, WI, UCLA, T A&M are all programs that were equal to or better than LSU for a long time. There is a fine line between winning and losing, and we have a good team with plenty of work to do. You doomsdayers have zero confidence and are convinced that we will fail which equals a 1/2 assed Tiger fan.

To be fair, I didn't see anyone in this thread say that.

I'm sorry, but do you think the offensive prowess we displayed Saturday will get us victories? Just because I'm being realistic about our obvious lack of scoring this year does not mean I'm a "doomsdayer." I still think we can beat Ole Miss and probably Arkansas and Auburn, besides of course Tulane and LaTech. But it will require improvement. Hell if the offense does improve, there is no reason we can't beat Bama. Reality can be harsh, and that's what our offense is now.

Link for this one? Sounds like it be a good read (in a funny way, not an agreeing way)

I love this quote by drizztiger in another post.
Pretty much sums up the narrow-minded, short-sighted kool aid drinkers.
Most fans that are frustrated now would love to finish the season well. But we're looking at the big picture, the long haul. If you can honestly say that the direction of the program is positive, then congrats on fooling yourself. Since the second half of 2007 (yes, when we lost to 2 unranked teams and beat a far inferior tOSU team) this team has underperformed terribly. That is the direction of the program. One season or game can have postive results with luck and smoke & mirrors. But over the long haul, continuing to underperform will lead to losses. Just try to look at the big picture.

So thats why we were the most overrated team in the top 5 last week and now most overrated in top 10. Said by all media.

I couldn't agree more with the 1st post. I also belive Crowton will turn things around.

Many of these friggin' rantards polluting the board this season with their inane and repititious bitching and moaning didn't know LSU football existed before 2003.

Go ahead and turn in your Tigerfan card.
I'll take winning NC's every few years, including some down yrs in between, any day of the week. I like that direction.

How about some elaboration?
