Okay, so now you're admitting that your "list of things from Unglesby," didn't actually come from Unglesby?
I listed things that Just Me linked in the last couple days; direct quotes from JJ's lawyer. Not links from a month ago.
Nice try

GG just said that all these witnesses are coming forward because they want JJ at qb. That shite is crazy.

I'm having issues with the link. Who was it that said the quote in the OP?
This is the pertinent stuff
quote:
Attorney Michael Bienvenu, who is representing four non-football players injured in the fight, estimated that about 10 to 12 witnesses were interviewed Wednesday, including his four clients. One of his clients is Marine reservist Andrew Lowery, whom Jefferson is accused by a half-dozen witnesses of kicking in the face while he was down. Tory Long, a female witness who previously told Bienvenu she saw Jefferson kick Lowery in the face, testified Wednesday, Bienvenu said. Police investigators also testified.
"They were moving," said Bienvenu, who was not allowed in the proceedings but watched witnesses come and go outside. "I think they've gone through about a third of the witnesses, but they've got a lot more witnesses to hear. They're also looking at a number of written statements by the players and others that they have to consider. They have a lot of ground to cover. The district attorney's office has located other witnesses who have identified Jefferson as kicking Lowery in the head - witnesses that I don't know."

thread title is low class...

BTW, JJ's lawyer on the radio just confessed that they only have one witness, that was not drinking, who gave a statement that JJ wasn't the kicker.
I think he tried this case in the media, and is about to go down in flames. Just like he did with Edwin Edwards. It's his MO.
I'd love to see you go one on one with him in court. It would be an absolutely bloodbath.

So Unglesby referencing other reports is now information coming from Unglesby?

Dude, you're sinking. You were called out. You were wrong. Then you tried to deflect and you were even wrong on the deflection.
You should be happy this thread is anchored.

The OP who made this thread is pathetic.
Posted on 9/22/11 at 7:57 pm to TIsuGGER
So your thread is quoting the attorney?
And you are using that as a springboard to attack those that think JJ is getting a raw deal?
Seems like a bit of a reach.
Just saying.

We'll see who is wrong in about three weeks.
Wrong about what? The indictment? FWIW the known lawyers posting on this site indicated the GJ would indict (which did surprise me).
What else are we going to know about in three weeks? The only think we'll get from the GJ is an indictment or not. Information from the GJ will not be released.
Am I missing something else that is happening three weeks from now?

I understand. You are embarassed. Here is the quote from Just Me's first post on that 26 page thread
Now show me where in that thread you called out Just Me?
Then provide links where the BRPD or DA's office said any of the things Just Me claimed in this. (also in that 1st post)

quote:
Many of the witnesses are LSU football players. Jefferson is not expected to take the stand today, his lawyer Lewis Unglesby said.
"Our turn is next week," Unglesby said Tuesday. "Usually the defendant doesn't testify, but Jordan Jefferson has consistently held the same position. He's cooperated with everyone who has talked to him."
Now show me where in that thread you called out Just Me?
Then provide links where the BRPD or DA's office said any of the things Just Me claimed in this. (also in that 1st post)
quote:
1. No one has stated that Jefferson was involved with anyone but Lowery.
2. The statements that place Jefferson with Lowery come from witnesses who would not do well under cross-examination for a number of reasons.
3. Numerous witness have provided sworn statements that say that Jefferson was not involved in the injuries suffered by Lowery.
4. The state has the burden to prove every element of the case against Jefferson beyond a reasonable doubt, including: (a) Jefferson caused the injuries, (b) the injuries constitute serious bodily injury.
5. Jefferson can justify his actions and obtain acquittal if he can successfully assert self-defense.

He quoted Ungelsby.
You can't be fricking serious.
Do you not understand the difference?

I don't think they grasp the concept that Lowery's lawyer has absolutely nothing to do with this case at hand.

This is the only one that was not reported somewhere else or wasn't JM's opinion on the law.
And this refers to the statements from the PR.
There may be more statements not public and Just Me probably should not have cast such a wide net.
Now, show me where he started a thread with an intentionally misleading title.
