It doesn't matter what Lowery's lawyer says, so it's useless to quote him. Jefferson is involved in the case, Unglesby is relevant. Baton Rouge is involved in the case, the DAs are relevant. Bienvue's ramblings don't mean shite until it's a civil trial.

Yeah, Lowery's attorney and the victims aren't parties to the case.

Then provide links where the BRPD or DA's office said any of the things Just Me claimed in this.
I followed that exchange you had with Just Me, and can speak to some of this.
quote:
1. No one has stated that Jefferson was involved with anyone but Lowery.
It's in the police report. No link needed.
quote:
2. The statements that place Jefferson with Lowery come from witnesses who would not do well under cross-examination for a number of reasons.
You can find this in numerous places, most recently the cbssports link from today LINK
quote:
3. Numerous witness have provided sworn statements that say that Jefferson was not involved in the injuries suffered by Lowery.
See link above or just use google.
quote:
4. The state has the burden to prove every element of the case against Jefferson beyond a reasonable doubt, including: (a) Jefferson caused the injuries, (b) the injuries constitute serious bodily injury.
5. Jefferson can justify his actions and obtain acquittal if he can successfully assert self-defense.
Those things have to do with the trial. Right now all I can speak to is the GJ hearing. But both statements look pretty self explainitory without a link.

You did not quote Bienvenue.
Please tell me you're drinking

said Bienvenu, ...They have a lot of ground to cover. The district attorney's office has located other witnesses who have identified Jefferson as kicking Lowery in the head - witnesses that I don't know."

He was there today because his clients ALL testified today. WTF are you talking about?
quote:
Attorney Michael Bienvenu, who is representing four non-football players injured in the fight, estimated that about 10 to 12 witnesses were interviewed Wednesday, including his four clients.
