I learn towards Gage since he was a converted DB, but Wright staying on an NFL roster for years was also surprising

Gage had like 400 yards his final year at LSU. I don't think Wright had a single catch his senior year.

Kenny Davidson was a career backup DL at LSU who became a starter for the Steelers.

Wright did not have single catch his senior year and got drafted in the 7th round. That is fricking astounding.

Wright simply because he didn’t do anything while at LSU.

Gage at least contributed his final year.

Definitely Wright. I remember seeing him in his high school championship game thinking he was gonna be great and didn’t do much at LSU. Guess he was a special teams superstar.

Gage isn’t a surprise because he graduated from Redemptorist and Redemptorist grads can do anything they set their minds to.

Gage was solid his senior yr, but probably Wright of those two. Bennie Logan or Kenny Davidson overall most surprising

Don’t really consider Gage a converted DB, he was always an athlete. Also he made some big time catches against Auburn and aTm.

Also, Foster Moreau should be in the conversation. He currently has 4 TDs for the Raiders.

The question was who was the more surprising NFL player - Gage or Wright? Not name any player that pops into your mind.

Bennie Logan was a dog while here at LSU. Why are you surprised he played in the NFL?

Yeah that makes no sense. All American and a 3rd rd pick. I’m more surprised he’s not still in the nfl.
