Joe is a good bit faster than Max. Consistently got the edge in scrambles and ran the option effectively. It’s just that he was the best passing QB ever so you didn’t want to do it too much.

From what I can find Joe ran a 4.59 and max a 4.84

High school 40’s aren’t accurate. Max was dunking in 8th grade. He will get edges like joe had if the running game & pass game are clicking

I’m very high on Max and think he can be very successful. But I just don’t see that next gear Joe had - I especially remember him flat out running away from 4/5* UGA dbs two years in a row.

They should sit him for eight weeks. Get the guy back healthy for the stretch run. By then other backs will be injured.

Wisconsin in 2014 he 100% was a freshman. The opener in Houston.
