I actually had a dream last night that Chase opted back in. I woke up in a very bad mood.
That’s a true tiger fan to be dreaming about something like that!

They're both still listed on the roster...

100% agree. LSU needs those two way more than Chase.

Need Farrell and Shelvin over the other two. I don't care how good Chase is - we need those two guys the most. They're experienced and very good.
This. We need the experience at DL bad. I think that's at least a one game difference with both those two back in the fold.

He’ll be over 400lbs without organized football. Will not get drafted at all.
You typed the identical words I was about to type

Maybe it was all just a fakeout?

So what’s the deadline to come back ? I know we just added a Nicholls kid but enrollment deadline has to be soon. Unless he’s already full time and taking online courses?
Posted on 9/12/20 at 11:43 pm to LSURep864
Is he enrolled in school? Critical question.

Need Farrell back bad. He’s quick enough to play DE on run downs if needed, and this defense showcases quick tackles on third down. Farrell comes back and he could very well play himself into a 2nd-3rd round discussion. I’ve always thought he was a very underrated guy and felt this year would be his opportunity to break out until the opt-out (he has the most understandable case of any of them with multiple family members catching the virus)

Yep, he’ll end up being another Terrence Cody... failing conditioning tests for teams and never making it to the field. Mt. Cody had all the potential in the world but couldn’t stay in shape.

Wow, good way to get out of 4 weeks of hard practice. Wish I would have thought of that in high school. But great that he is maybe back.

Pretty sure they could opt back in at any moment without restriction

Saw his grandma tonight and she was fine. Not sure if she is the one who was reportedly sick.
Pics?

Getting Farrell back would be massive. Not that I don't trust the freshmen, but having a 4th year guy in the trenches is a lot more settling.

I can tell you now Shelvin best get his arse back here because him sitting out for over a year of playing football won't do him any good!!!!
Yep
400 lbs. won’t appeal to the ....whatever league they go to.

I’m Team Shelvin. His weight is not a will power/lazy thing. It’s a big man genetics thing. I hate to see this guy get years of shite because he’s who he is. I don’t think his build is a character flaw, I think it’s genetic destiny.
After football he will need surgery to attain a healthy weight and a decent life span.
