The difference is what were home runs are now just loud outs... more runs equal more excitement it’s not that fricking hard...

Your question was more of a statement. You think the because everyone uses the same bats and balls that the offense should look the same now as it did then. That is an ignorant introduction to your "question." Runs are down for everyone since the 90s because of the change in bats. That includes LSU. You will never see offense like that again anywhere in college baseball.

And if you want to compare apples to apples, we have the third highest team batting average in the SEC right now
