I understand the idea behind this, but i don't think it means too much in a baseball series...yea they won tonight, but both teams will be balls to the wall tomorrow...if momentum meant so much we would have done much more tonight...i like our tigers chances tomorrow night with our boy Ranaudo on the bump!...let's be positive, give UT their props for a great game and just believe in our boys to come out hot tomorrow and take our 6th title...

Donno, we have no bullpen left after tonight for the most part. They have a good most of theirs fairly fresh for tomorrow. I think this gives them momentum.

In baseball, momentum goes only as far as tomorrow's starting pitcher.

Mainieri screwed the pooch on this one.

Don't know that he had many options tonight, no pooch to screw. He couldn't just leave one guy in tonight and give them the game.

Are you a retard? We have plenty of bullpen. We have our ace on the mound. Ott can pitch, coleman can go an inning, c jones and more. Some of you guys need to jump off a cliff now

Sure did. But I like the guy and hope for the best in his career.

Mainieri did the right thing by saving Ranaudo until tomorrow. IMHO

How is UT's bullpen good to go? The "almighty" Austin Wood threw 42 yesterday, obviously Jungmann's done, Dicharry and Workman threw 30+ each. I suppose Shinaberry's going to magically dazzle us tomorrow, given the fact that he's only pitched nine innings this season.

UT is not in better shape than LSU as far as bullpen. Ranaudo needs to be vintage tomorrow.

Might as well wait til Ranaudo is fresh rather than pitch him on 3 days rest

Nope not a retard. We don't have much in the way of long relief in the bullpen other than maybe Ross. So long as Ranaudo gives us his normal outing we will be great. I never said I have lost faith, nor that we will loose, just that our bullpen isn't gonna be fresh tomorrow.

Also by your standards Ott threw 40+ yesterday. I think he will pitch tomorrow, as any of the guys will go tomorrow as after that there is no tomorrow.

Pitching agaisnt Jungman, Ranaudo would have been wasted to night. LSU on got 1 Run tonight. Dont see how Ranaudo could change that.

Final game of the year means you have everyone available, though some might be limited on how much you can pitch them. Even Coleman can give us a couple of innings.
