She might not weigh 190, but she's clearly a large girl. Check this pic with da clay pigeon, who measured in at 5'11 188 at the combine:

6 foot 1, 190 is 6 foot 1, 190--whether male or female. It's big enough to play if she/he has the heart. It's big enough to tackle, and it's big enough to run a fake field goal into the end zone. I believe she's bigger than Brad Wing who ran the fake punt into the end zone against Florida.

Our bodies are composed differently. An elite female athlete likely has more body fat than an elite male athlete of similar size.

Didn't your momma/girlfriend teach you that?

Brad Wing lists at 6'3" and 183 lbs.

I'd like to see Mo Isom get her fair shot at the kicking position, and from what I've seen and read she might be a good fit as the third-string walk-on. But let's be clear. There's no such thing as, "Big enough to tackle." Tackling is a very specific skill, and so is shedding a tackle. The young men playing football in the SEC have been refining their technique since early childhood, and they are phenomenally good at both.

Isom can't just show-up and, with her size, make up for those years of practice. There's also a distinct, and undeniable, disadvantage in her body composition.

Could she force a returner out of bounds by cutting off the angle? Possibly. But that wouldn't, and shouldn't, be her role if she earns a walk-on spot.

Here's a fun story for some of you dumbass's out there that think she's comparable to men of equal size.
My cousins wife is extremely athletic for a woman, she's some kind of federal agent, works out all the time, has an awesome fit body. she's had tons of martial arts classes and defense classes. She's about 5'9" about 140. My cousin who is slightly bigger by about an inch and 10 maybe 15 pounds, and just got back from Afghan and is skinny as frick now, asked her to try her defense moves on him.
to say the least it was hilarious for me and him, she was pissed.
He put her in a hold, she could not get out, literrally could not get out.
She put him in a hold, he got out immediately and effortlessly.
He's laughing the whole time at how easy it was, while she's about to start crying b/c she thought she had equal physical abilities as her male counterpart.

She has the size advantage over Drew Alleman FWIW.

i have no problem with mo, think she's a great girl, but this is ridiculous. even if she is 6 foot 190, she was get absolutely DESTROYED by a male of the same size or slightly smaller, both on the field and the weight room. this is like the same argument old people get in about the lady tigers being able to compete with the mens team in basketball. her weighing that much and being an athlete is great and all, but the disparity between a male and female athlete is HUGE. i'd be worried if she were ever to step on the field on the kickoff. the opposing team's special teams players who knock her the hell out every time. she really needs to drop all this IMO. i'll think less of miles if he lets her on the team. it would be nothing more than a publicity stunt, and we don't need that type of attention right now. we're trying to make a statement by winning the national championship, not breaking gender barriers just for the sake of doing so. our high school kicker could kick 50+ yard field goals and kick it in the end zone (he was an all state soccer player) and he couldn't sniff a D-1 roster.

This is all just a publicity stunt for her, I dont care what she says.

yep and if i were les, i'd have told her thanks but no thanks. we don't need another kicker, and i'm sure we could find someone on the club mens soccer team with just as much leg strength as mo if it came down to that

This....women's bodies are naturally softer, thank God, and really shouldn't be out there colliding with men. All of this liberal PC crap "sounds" good and emotional, but there's a reason no female has had any significant playing time whatsoever. She should stick with the girls sports. She is a really nice female specimen and shouldn't lower herself to the animal levels that men are at.

OMG Yes! Having her put the nail in Bama's coffin at our game this year would be sweet, sweet revenge. Imagine the pictures of Gumps crying at that game.

Uh if you are smaller than Mo, yeah you are a smaller guy. Sorry. You would be outweighed by every position except some corners and kickers

Lots of Goldie hawn's wildcats fans in here I see.

I thought that movie was dumb as shite when I was 10.
At 35, my opinion remains the same.

So 6'1 180 is a "smaller" guy now? You know that he didn't mean relative to college football players at a school like LSU, right?
