I wish this every day. It gets worse and worse every day. If someone's not a moron, they're a dipshit or douchebag.

watch her Mo verses, she barely made something between a 30-40 yarder.

I'd believe the lifetime soccer player playing in college as a keeper (They kick it harder and further than pretty much anyone else on Earth. See keepers on club teams and how far they can kick. Astounding.) who has been practicing and working out with the team since then over the guy who can't spell versus.

First I'll say I fully support what she is doing. Second, I'll say what she is doing is shameless self-promotion. The girl is smart enough to realize that she made friends with the right people and was a star female athlete. She would be an idiot to not run with it. If she is getting this much attention while still at LSU, she will have significant oppurtunities after graduation

You are missing the point InTheKnow. They are saying that if LSU can't recruit kickers that are better than a female soccer player then they should be fired. That if they are getting paid all this money to bring in atheletes and this chick just walks in off the street (I know this isn't exactly how it happened) and out kicks them then the recruiting staff deserves the ax

I'm all for her getting a tryout and making the team if good enough, but on Mo versus she barely made a 40 yd fg off of a tee with no line in front of her. However, her kickoff looked pretty good

I'll take any decent lifetime soccer player with practice over some random who played in high school. People don't realize how good soccer players are with their feet. Go try to do the stuff they do without someone guarding you and then imagine doing it against defenders. Don't think Brad Wing is as good as he is because he was a natural. He played a more foot oriented game his whole life and then came here.

I don't agree with what the radio guys were saying. I was just pointing out that the world outside the rant is also against this. There are people both for and against Mo trying out. I am for it.

A question I have is this: Are there other kickers trying out? Surely there are, there are every year. Yet we have people on here who are ranting about 'we already have a kicker, we don't need her' or whatever. There are other try-outs, there are every year. I don't think this needs to be as big a deal as it is. At least not until she makes the team...that would be the story; don't understand why people care so much about a try-out.

Because this all started with the Mo-versus. She used her resources to gain popularity with people familiar with football, so that when she did try out it would be a big story that the media might catch on to.

On Houston espn radio yesterday they were talking about it and the 2 guys on the show were totally against it. They were mocking Les Miles recruiting staff because of it. Saying if she makes the team the whole recruiting staff should be fired.

Let me get this straight... two guys from a city whose team got the snot beaten out of them by Southern Miss. 49-28 Dec 3, are mocking anyone?

have you ver kicked a soccer ball? Completely different in every aspect of kicking. And Tony Meola had a huge career in the NFL.

This is becoming comical now.

No one has yet to give a good reason why she should not be on the team. And if I hear one more dumb arse say, "Well, then why can't we try out for girls teams?"

First off, none of you are good enough to even make the women's teams. Secondly, WOMEN DON'T HAVE A FOOTBALL DIVISION IN NCAA. She has no choice.

I wish people would stop with this...if you wanted to play soccer in college you should not have attended LSU. There are other options for schools that have a soccer team. And softball (wavy equals sign) baseball

After all the crap from last season, this is a good thing for the team, LSU and Meaux.
