That's interesting. Only one player received a $1 million bonus last year in the sixth round... and he was signed by the Pirates. We may not know until August on Von Rosenberg.

ZVR seemed pretty depressed in the advocate this morning based of his interview because he wasn't picked on day 1.

DJ isn't engaged, he's married to that money. It was nice having him, hope he finished off his time in p&g the right way and gets to the show one day soon.

Wait i'm having a hard time time understanding the front on who is signed, guess I don't have really good eyes or having a hard time believing the Pirates were able to sign a guy in the 27th round. Can we underline the guys instead of Italics to say who has signed already ?
Jared Mitchell- 1st round, 23rd overall, White sox
Slade Heathcott- 1st round, 29th overall, NY Yankees
DJ Lemahieu- 2nd round, 79th overall, Cubs
Lewis Coleman- 5th round, 152nd overall, Royals
Ryan Schimpf- 5th round, 160th overall, Blue Jays
Zach Von Rosenberg- 6th round, 175th overall, Pirates
Brody Colvin- 7th round, 227th overall, Phillies
Chad Stang- 8th round, 256th overall, Brewers
Blake Dean - 10th round, 312th overall, Twins
Sean Ochinko - 11th round, 340th overall, Blue Jays
Mitchell Mormann - 20th round, Giants
Wes Luquette- 27th round, Pirates
I think guys that should definitely be coming back or enrolling in August are
Dean (Needs to find a true position so he can be picked in the top 3 rounds)
ZVR - Just cant picture the Pirates ponying up the Dough
Mormann n Luquette both guys can be top 7 round draft choices.

I'm surprised Forrest Garrett wasn't drafted today.

It's people that have signed to play baseball at LSU, not that they've signed pro contracts yet.

he had an elbow injury that kept him out his high school season for 6 or 7 weeks. I think that dropped him down a lot.

yeah but he is not going to go pro with that arm right now. His bat is not 1-3 talent his arm is what is keeping him around there and that is why im suprised because he hurt his arm
