No doubt. Plus, the MLB organizations do keep their cards close to the vest regarding where players are on their draft boards. Several clubs had been high on Moore for years and the last 2 weeks of the season had nothing to do with that. I just figured a scout would know that. I really do enjoy the info in his posts though.

He missed Moore's draft grade by a significant margin.

I said 20-35 and he went 6th, it happens.

Signability plays a huge part within the first 10 rounds under the current system. So it is even more difficult to predict if you've never had a discussion with the player about their plans.

I do as well but I know nothing so. . . . .

SIAP, but with the new draft bonus caps rules and that none of the signees have been drafted so far sans Bradley, does it look like we will land everyone but Bradley.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Draft isn't helping Vandy. 5 commits in first 6 rounds.

Might as well update the OP on him

You can't rule anything out until you know which team drafts them and how much money they manage to save on their top 10 round picks. The rules do not prevent teams from paying over slot as long as it is available in their pool.
The good thing is by not being selected in the top 10 it means teams know they are serious about their demands and won't be an easy sign (if a team fails to sign a pick in the top 10 rounds they lose that pick's value from their total bonus pool).
Several of them will be selected today, and teams will throw whatever they manage to save at them. That's how we lost Longhi last year.

At this point the round doesn't matter. Round 11 is no different than 29. If anything more than 100k is given then the excess amount over 100 counts against the total pool which is based on each team's pick values in the first 10 rounds.

Hoping they may be slighted by the slide more than anything else

There's always that. For some it is a pride thing and for some it is a money thing.

Some of these guys like Marshall have such high asking prices though it's hard for to see teams going that much over 100K. Big difference in getting to Longhi's 400K than it is getting to 7 figures.

Right, just saying that the issue and dollar impact is the same now regardless of the round.

Bradley is going to be the only player from the class to leave
