Does Cabell’s academy have a history of primarily sending players directly into pro ball? I would assume that’s how/why they end up there to begin with.
Jack Leftwich is the only big name out there right now, he went to Florida over the draft.
But they've only been an "academy" for 2 years. They were just a training facility before that.

In regards to bianco, in my opinion, it says a lot that the longest tenured baseball coach in the SEC (I think he has the highest winning % also) is on board with his son coming to your program.. I’m sure the rant will never consider that though

Bianco's career winning % at Ole Miss is .664
Other active coaches in the SEC higher:
Mainieri - .706
O'Sullivan - .686
Childress - .709
As to him sending his son to LSU. First, he didn't want to coach his son. Second, Bianco went here and coached here. Of course he would have no problem sending his son here.

Notice i said ‘I think’. Obviously I was wrong, but if CPM was as shitty as the rant says he is, dont you think bianco would steer him away from here?

the majority of the rant posters calling for Mainieri's job are idiots or don't pay enough attention to the program throughout the season to take their opinions seriously.

And that was the exact point I was trying to make

I hate those fans

I said the same thing and it didn't go over well. I was told Biano let his son choose freely and didn't "send him to LSU" (which is how I phrased it.) Probably poor word choice by me, but my point was if Bianco thought of CPM what some of the rant does, then he would never let him come to LSU.

***No damage in the 3rd Round***

Do any of these "can't miss " guys play football? They might want to learn how to punt. Just ask Zach VonRosunburg.

Looking good so far, but things can change quickly.
I’ll feel better once we are through the 5th round, but the team that drafts them is certainly another factor.

So do we feel good right now about the signees?
At what round do we think Hess/Duplantis/Watson come back?

I'm trying my very best not to get my hopes sky high. I'm trying really hard
Bottom line, is we don't know. Its unknown what these kids numbers are, and if they will be met even if its a later round.
Hess and Watson in particular though are about to hit the point where they can stand to make a lot more money if they return next season and get drafted higher. Maybe the threat of them not signing at this point pushes them down a bit more.

He probably wanted a chance to play in Omaha instead of choking in the regional every year

No Tigers gone with nine picks left in the 5th.
Very reflective of the decreased talent level of the 2018 squad.
Four Beavers have been drafted, and yes, MLB is staying away from the child molester. He's still on the board.
