It’s ok to acknowledge he’s a great coach.
Claiming that Vitello would have run-ruled Mizzou tonight is a bit more than acknowledging he’s a great coach. That’s the equivalent of hanging a Tony V poster on the ceiling in your bedroom.

Yeah, Jay Johnson could never beat Vitello in Omaha without Skenes on the mound.
Amirite?

And they “mercy ruled” Florida on a ball that is an out at Alex Box
an absolute travesty and disrespectful to the game of college baseball

Vitello is that coach that you love him if he's yours and hate him if you're going against him.
Personally, I don't really mind him for that reason. The guy is obviously a hell of a coach and anyone saying otherwise is purposely being dishonest. They have a very good team once again and have a real shot at going back to back. Sucks, but it's true.
I still like our Tigers, though.

Serious question,
Why are you a fig? Did a tenner fig peg you in the arse while you sucked your mom’s cock? Say hi to serraneaux while you get fricked!

The only time I give a shite what Tennessee does is when they come to Baton Rouge and we BEAT THE frick OUT OF THEM.

Let’s look at some of their results last year:
They swept 23-32 Missouri at home, but two of those wins were 3-2.
3-2 vs UNC-Asheville
2-1 vs Southern Indiana
Lost 2/3 to 33-24 Alabama
8-5 loss vs 27-29 Ole Miss
16-2 loss to Georgia
9-5 loss to 27-26 Auburn
9-6 loss to Lipscomb
10-8 loss to Evansville
Apparently they weren’t perfect in every game last year, but that didn’t prevent them from winning the CWS.

They have a chance to do so this year, but apparently aren’t dominating enough in the process to satisfy you. Tennessee beat Missouri twice by 1 run but still won the CWS. Apparently being dominant in every game wasn’t required.

He’s a good coach. I would stop short in calling him a great coach. After all, he squandered a team that had one of the best regular seasons in recent memory.
