we travel to starkvegas this saturday, and State is coming off a win against Vandy.. if we play like we played the last 3 games, will this one stay close?

Nope. Miss State will run away with it.

Get Real! Miss State has trouble even getting a TD. They are a lesser version of UW, which we beat. Same style. We win this one!

unless we play our best game of the season so far, we will lose to Mississippi State

this may be the last SEC game we in this year. All the other offenses are playing at a level above us unfortunately.

We seem to play to the level of our opponents. Don't see this changing any time soon.

and they held vandy to 3 points. we let vandy score a TD and they only failed to score a 2nd b/c of a bad throw by their QB

This is the best SEC game for our improvement we could ask for. Miss State has a very good D. A good test for our O. On the other hand they have an O that is a bad copy of Florida's. Our D will get good practice.

I like the matchup.

holding vandy to no TD's might be a positive for us.. maybe we will see the playbook open up some more.. we are in SEC play now, so there is no chance for screwing around.. this is the first game ill be able to attend this year, and im hoping that the Tigers will come out playing like they should have been the last 3 weeks

It will be a close one and I could definitely see us lose it but in the end I believe it will be a 7-10 point LSU victory.

Didn't we play an SEC game last week? Did we open up the playbook then?

I think it's bunk to say we haven't opened it up. I bet we've seen 90% of our offense. We simply haven't executed very well.

I predicted MSU would win last night and everyone basically called me an idiot for saying something so crazy.

I think those of you who think we will lose this game must be on crack or something! We will be 4-0 after beating MSU, looking forward to truly testing our revamped defense against a high powered UGA offense. Get a frickin grip.

ok we did play vandy last week, got me there.. i was getting at that we are starting a run of conference games now, and each week gets tougher.. and about the playbook, we finally saw some deep passes last night and JJ showed that as a weakness, so i would assume that LM and GC will now limit our passing plays to the ones that most benefit our team and dont put us in bad situations like last year

it would be nice if the team has a break-out game. i don't expect it, though. i think we win a fairly close one, say 10 pts. or so.
