These runs should help Schmidt settle down a bit on the mound. No need to press when you're leading by this much.

Rake tagging a 2nd in one inning is the only way this can end.

You think he’s coming back out?

With his pitch count and the break b/t innings, don’t think he’s coming back out

Good hitting with RISP today.

But I thought we couldn’t do that

I'll be surprised if he comes back out between the number of pitches already and the long time sitting this half inning - especially this early in the season.

Another chance at rabbit's favorite play

Didn't think it'd happen so quickly after we cleared the bases once already this inning.

Suddenly this pitcher is dropping them in the zone.

Certainly wouldn't surprise me. Jay also likes to end things on a high note, which Schmidt ended that inning on. Sometimes he brings pitchers out to get another out so it wouldn't surprise me.

He was like a a quarter of an inch under that breaking ball. Otherwise, it's a 430 ft grand slam.

Poppa should have jumped on that breaking pitch he hung in the zone.

Was just mumbling the same while simultaneously hoping the wind was enough to push that into the bleachers since it was in the stratosphere
