It's a lefty, those pitches are strikes, just look like balls on TV because they are cutting across the plate and the catcher is catching them deep.

Schmidt is going to lose confidence quick if he keeps throwing those flat FB.

Schmidt going to be a midweek guy. A walk an inning doesn’t get it done.

Schmidt versus Schmidt

One is named William. The other is named Tate.

LSU's former Chancellor's name...

William Tate

Schmidt has lots of potential, but he misses a ton of spots. Can’t do that in SEC play.

Arrambide, Yorke, Pearson, Serna has to be the heaviest four consecutive batters we've ever had in a lineup

Position players by weight (stopped at Arimbide because he was the lightest you mentioned)

Zach Yorke - 6-2 - 295 lbs
Omar Serna Jr. - 6-2 - 245 lbs
John Pearson - 6-0 - 235 lbs
Mason Braun - 6-0 - 213 lbs
Seth Dardar - 6-2 - 212 lbs
William Patrick - 6-2 - 209 lbs
Cade Arrambide - 6-3 - 208 lbs

Some of the pitchers by weight who are heavier than Arrambide

Deven Sheerin - 6-5 - 255 lbs
Mavrick Rizy - 6-9 - 251 lbs
Jaden Noot - 6-4 - 244 lbs
Marcos Paz - 6-2 - 228 lbs
Grant Fontenot - 6-3 - 225 lbs
Danny Lachenmayer - 6-3 - 221 lbs
Reagan Ricken - 6-5 - 218 lbs
Zac Cowan - 5-11 - 211 lbs

Definitely some beef on this team. At 6'1 this fat boy is between Serna and Rizy.
