If we got stuck with Lane and lot of people would say we got what we deserved.

No doubt he will try, but I don't see LSU giving him a pay raise after a losing season, and we are staring one straight in the face unless Miles makes changes.

Cam would probably step right in. And I'd be fine with that.

Lane Kiffin may well have learned a lot about how not to be a head coach at USC, but LSU isn't the place to verify it (or not)

Probably would have to settle on an up and coming assistant coach.

The last 15 yrs have shown LSU to be a "destination school". imo

While I don't want the gamble of a coaching search for LSU when we have one of the most successful guys in the college game today, I think the days of "up and coming assistant coach" landing here are over.

Miles has done a great job at LSU. If he wants to go back home after giving LSU the best 10 yrs period in our history, he will get no grief from me.

I will go ahead and play the game, I believe that you would see the name of James Franklin begin to surface.

These rumors started after the UM loss to ND. Also a viable rumor UM AD that stood in the way of hiring Les previously is leaving at the same time as Hoke. Will be interesting this season.

I think it would be Jimbo... yeah yeah i know hes at FSU.. why would he leave ?? But if hes going to start over ( jameis leaving ), he may think long and hard about coming back to BR.

As long as Lloyd Carr has a say in the hire. Les won't be coaching Michigan.

Ha, I'd love to be in that negotiation. "Sorry Les, LSU doesn't not reward 6 win seasons. Your move."

He'll never leave FSU with the rest of the ACC as weak as it is.

I hope he goes and lsu has 4 losing seasons in a row so the rant will shut their face about how bad he sucks.
