Who is gonna discuss the possible rift right after the game? Especially underclassman coming back. Probably directed not to talk about it.

For Shep and RR, other leaving they have plenty of time to talk, but want things to settle down first....if a rift even happened.

Shep's tweet sure is interesting though...

The bottom line is RS approached Miles over a week ago and wanted a change. His #s were way way down since JJ was back. The entire OL agreeed. Miles decided against the change and words were exchanged. Stud got into it with Miles closer to the game. Big deal happened between players before game and at half there was pushing but no punches over the topic. Miles was "blackmailed" by a group of players. THats why it looks/seems/smells so awkward that Miles wouldn't make the move. He has lost much control over the locker room from the story told.

This could be the very reason so much Vegas money moved to Bama the day before the game. Danny Sheriden, a well known odds maker, said he moved ALL his money to Bama a day before the game but would not elaborate on the reason. Others obviously followed to make a hugh shift on the line. This kind of incident and situation could definately cause the line shift.

If that many people knew in advance, we would hear the whole story by now

All game long the players looked like they were having to act out a script they didn't want to follow.
I hope that the rumor mill about the players & coaches is false, this could have negative repercussions for years to come.
When do we get the 30 for 30 episode?

Look and learn. Everyone including JL who questioned miles on starting JJ entered into the same dog house. RS joined in and god schemed out. T-Bob started losing playing time after his dad got angered by Miles singling out T-Bob in a bar fight that he had nothing to do with. Don't get between Les and his son. The coaches have a code that they live by and will never talk. Even the ones who leave. This exodus of players speaks volumes to the total disgust of the players.

I thought 2011 Bama was about a 10-14 pt better team than LSU

Haven't seen you on here since the game, but I remember you saying this and me doubting it. Have to give you credit for your keys to the game panning out.

The OL wanted J Lee to play. SO did other big names. It was obvious JJ was gonna be ineffective to them and when it was happening things got worse. It was known that we would need to pass to be effective against Bama...

Yall need to get Dmitch's "opinion" of what was going on up to and during the game.....I'm sure he has a"theory" or 2...

If RR was pissed that his numbers were down, why not stay? With a passing QB waiting in the wings, his numbers could vastly improve next season, thus raising his draft stock for 2013.

Because if this is true I'm sure he was in on the requesting of Lee and the fighting so he is ready to leave. Even his dad mentions its a multiple of reasons.

If its any consolation to you this is the best Bama team I have seen since the Bryant era. So, 2nd best to it in 2011 is very good. What the LSU fanbase should be excited about is:

Are you on crack rock? We beat this Bama team that is so great. If anything, the score is even. Run and tell that!

RR is a smart man. He would stay if he thought it would help his status next year.

The fact THAT HE IS LEAVING should be another wake up call to the program that there is A LOT wrong right now and with what Miles did on Monday.

As being in the small group that has supported Miles everyday, his arrogance and stubborn nature cost him and the entire program huge.

The Tigers will recover - but Miles may never get back his standing with the team.

that says more about it than anything else. Does Chicken know anything? I'm doubting this story and wondering why it's still up this long

Wow, this thread got really interesting. I leave for a few hours and all this comes out. I think I preferred just getting our butts kicked than actually have the team falling apart.

When was that, because our running backs barely touched the ball in the 1st 3 quarters? Its hard to have something fall apart when it never got started in the first place.

Fair enough! I agree that we gave up on the run far to early.

Point is Miles had plenty of warning that the team was fracturing over the QB and offense. He choose poorly!

If this is true

I dream of the day CLM gets his hand out of the offensive game plan. He was arrogant to think we would be able to run the ball against Bama.

What is it u think j lee did? Give me something bro. The kid never got arrested, graduated before the bcs NC game, never said one wrong word in the press,

What would make more sense, a player whose coach was keeping things quiet for you following the company line with the press, or a player whose coach was screwing him over following the company line with the press.
