Miles speaks (Tiger Rag)

I got this in my e-mail a little bit ago. Doesn't answer a whole lot, but I thought I'd share anyways. Don't think we'll ever get the answers we're looking for, or want to hear. The further removed from the game we get the more I accept the possibility that perhaps we were just the second best team in the country this year. Bama was likely the only team that we couldn't push around, and when the run game fell apart we had nowhere to go. Coach obviously didn't trust either QB enough to win the game for him. Hopefully the next QB will earn that trust.

the actual reality of the game says otherwise.

I like how you worded this. And I think you're right.

No it doesn't. It just means they didn't prepare the way they needed to. Unless you saw what they were doing everyday for the last month and a half you have no room to talk about their devotion.

I did like hearing this part:
“Obviously we weren’t prepared because I think preparation certainly would have led to victory, but certainly there were some things that we were not prepared for. But I have to think that that staff, players, certainly coaches, busted their behind to prepare.”
Hopefully he learns to prepare better, not harder.

that would be a failure at preparation.
Doing something a thousand times doesn't make it good, it just makes it repetitive.

Wrong preparation, wrong game plan, wrong (no) midgame adjustments, wrong offensive play selection, wrong offensive player selection, wrong (no) offensive inspiration (spark).
Les owes an apology for the offensive fiasco, meltdown, disaster, imbroglio......... He needs to deliver the apology to every single person who has ever lived in the State of Louisiana.

But what about the players saying they expected Lee to play and they didn't run plays they practiced. Shouldn't you at least try a change once to see if it will work. Learning = Change of behavior due to experiences.
We obviously didn't learn shite.

Perhaps you should track him down and tell him that.

Then why keep just one in there? The bottom line is RS approached Miles over a week ago and wanted a change. His #s were way way down since JJ was back. The entire OL agreeed. Miles decided against the change and words were exchanged. Stud got into it with Miles closer to the game. Big deal happened between players before game and at half there was pushing but no punches over the topic. Miles was "blackmailed" by a group of players. THats why it looks/seems/smells so awkward that Miles wouldn't make the move. He has lost much control over the locker room from the story told.
Thats why the shocker came out that RS is going pro, yeah right, he was pushed out basically. Thats also why he got in 3 plays! The greater part of the team wanted JLee and so goes the distracted play by the offense.
TIFWIW....from a players mouth...I am positive the rest of the story is gonna find its way out.

So what does " duh....want, err... enjoyed, duh... this team, uhhh..want, ah..want.." mean?

It means, "I have no f'ing idea WTF happened. And I really don't know why we did or didn't do some of the things we did...or didn't do".

It may have been better if LSU had lost to Bama on 11/5, then entered this game as the #2 seed, hungry and happy for the 2nd chance, like Bama was.

someone needs to tell CLM
1. Game plan includes contingency in case primary plan does not work
2. Does not matter how hard the staff and players prepare- that is only one part of the equation
3. The other part of the equation is that it is the Head Coach's responsibility to make adjustments, changes and move to the next option when the current plan is not working
4. IT is not whether we won or lost but how we played and lost the game- not the players, or other coaches- but our Head coach did nothing to change the outcome.
5. The only thing worse than failure is to admit the failure
Don't get me started
